ConvertKit rename and the free ceiling

ConvertKit rebranded to Kit. SideBySend records one Kit dataset. The ConvertKit URL stays as an alias so the old name still lands on the same numbers rather than a second invented ladder. ConvertKit pricing and Kit pricing both point at that dataset.

Newsletter still covers this list size for free. The free ceiling sits at 10,000 subscribers (free there). Paid Creator and Creator Pro include unlimited sends, so send volume never moves the bill once you leave free.

What the subscriber count includes

Kit bills confirmed subscribers only, and its help pages list every other status as outside the billing total: unsubscribed, complained, bounced, blocked and unconfirmed. Hard bounces are unsubscribed automatically. Cold subscribers who still hold a confirmed status keep counting until they are removed by hand. What each tracked vendor counts is recorded here.

Where this stop sits on the ladder

Creator moves from $59 at 2,500 subscribers to $89 here, then to $139 at 10,000. Creator Pro moves from $99 to $139, then to $189. The Kit pricing slider prints both the 5,000 and the 10,000 stop, so none of these figures is carried from a neighboring stop except 2,500, which is billed at the 3,000 stop.
