Moosend pricing at fixed list sizes

On month to month billing, Moosend Pro is the lowest published price in the cross vendor pricing table at 500, 1k, 2.5k, 5k and 10k contacts. At 25k, 50k and 100k another vendor's comparison plan is cheaper. That table compares the cheapest plan each vendor sells, and plans are not feature matched.

The per 1,000 subscriber column in the ladder shows how the price scales. The 500 stop works out at $18 per 1,000 subscribers a month, and the lowest rate on the ladder is $5.55 per 1,000 at the 75,000 stop. The cost calculator prices your own list size across every vendor.

Pro is sold three ways. Monthly can be cancelled at any time. Biannual is paid every six months at 15 percent off. Annual is paid once a year at 20 percent off. Moosend prints the discounted prices as whole dollars a month, so they are the stated savings rounded. At 500 subscribers, paying yearly saves $24 over a year. At 10,000 it saves $216.

A cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term, so an annual plan runs to the end of its year. How the yearly saving compares with other platforms is on the annual vs monthly pricing page.

Moosend sells one self serve plan, Pro, priced on unique active subscribers across every list in the account, with unlimited email sends at every size. Each price is a subscriber limit, such as 5,000 active subscribers on the 5K plan, so a list between two stops pays for the stop above. The same address on several lists counts once. Pro is sold monthly, biannually at 15 percent off, or yearly at 20 percent off. Instead of a plan, an account can buy pay as you go credits, one email to one recipient each, that do not expire. Moosend+ and Enterprise are quoted plans and are not priced here.

Moosend bills on unique active subscribers across the whole account, so the same address on several lists counts once. A bounce or a spam complaint puts the address on the suppression list, which Moosend says removes it from the active subscriber count. An archived recipient does not count toward active subscribers or billing, and Moosend's own way to load a suppression list is to archive the contacts so they are marked unsubscribed. The unsubscribed answer is derived from that and from the active subscriber basis rather than from a statement naming unsubscribes, so it is marked derived. What happens to a double opt in subscriber who never confirms is not stated on the pages SideBySend reads, so that cell is left empty. The same question asked of every vendor in the tables.
