Comparison
Brevo vs Kit pricing
These two do not sell the same thing. Brevo charges for monthly send volume and caps the list underneath. Kit charges for confirmed subscribers and includes unlimited sends on every paid plan. Mid list sizes are where the gap is clearest once Kit's free Newsletter ceiling is behind you.
Cheapest paid plan each one sells
Brevo Starter against Kit Creator. Starter has no marketing automation. Creator includes unlimited automations and sequences.
Prices are compiled from public vendor pages and can lag behind a change. Cells marked Der are calculated from published rules and cells marked Est are rough figures. Neither is an invoice or a quote, so confirm with the vendor before you spend.

Mid list sizes after the free ceiling
- 10,000 contacts
- $46
- Brevo Starter under the weekly assumption. Kit Creator is $139 verified. Kit Newsletter is still free at this size.
- 25,000 contacts
- $82
- Brevo Starter on the 100,000 send band. Kit Creator is $199 verified.
- Standard vs Creator Pro
- $139
- Brevo Standard at 25,000. Kit Creator Pro is $279 verified.
At 10,000 subscribers Kit Newsletter still covers the list for free if broadcasts alone are enough, since the free plan has no automations or email sequences. Brevo free can store that list too, but the 300 email daily send cap makes a weekly newsletter impossible on free alone. The paid comparison only starts to matter for Kit once the free ceiling no longer fits, or once the list passes 10,000.
At 25,000 contacts under 4 sends per contact per month, Brevo needs about 100,000 emails a month, which lands on the 100,000 send band. Starter is $82 and Creator is $199. Those are recorded dataset cells, not invented mid-tier dollars.

Different meters on the same list size
Kit. Kit bills confirmed subscribers only, and its help pages list every other status as outside the billing total: unsubscribed, complained, bounced, blocked and unconfirmed. Hard bounces are unsubscribed automatically. Paid Creator and Creator Pro include unlimited sends, so send volume never touches the bill. Selling through Kit still carries a transaction fee on every plan, including free.
Brevo. Brevo bills send volume, so a blocklisted contact costs nothing to send to and Brevo says as much. It also says blocklisted contacts are still added to the total number of contacts, and since October 2025 that total is capped by the send band. So they do not cost sends and they do consume the cap. Every Brevo contact breakpoint on this page rests on the site wide weekly send assumption. A list that sends more often buys a higher band. Per contact against per send sets that assumption out in full.
Both ladders are dated dataset reads. Kit published a September 2025 reprice of roughly 35 percent and retired the old 15 dollar Creator entry tier. Brevo added hard contact caps under volume bands in October 2025. Older sticker prices that ignore those dates are not used here.
