ConvertKit pricing

ConvertKit is now Kit. The public pricing page, the product name and the bills all say Kit. SideBySend records one Kit dataset and keeps this ConvertKit URL as an alias so the old name still lands on the same numbers.

Snapshot 6, checked 26 October 2026. Vendor pricing page.

The short answer

ConvertKit is now called Kit, and you buy it on the Kit pricing page. Kit is free up to 10,000 subscribers on its free plan, called Free, which sends broadcasts but has no automations or email sequences. The paid Creator plan starts at $39 a month for 1,000 subscribers, and Creator Pro at $79. At 10,000 subscribers Creator is $139 a month. Paying yearly costs 10 times the monthly price, so two months are free. Sends are unlimited on every plan. Use the calculator for your own count.

Prices went up in September 2025: Creator at 1,000 subscribers moved from $29 to $39, and the old $15 tier for 300 subscribers was retired. A ConvertKit price you see in an older guide is likely from before that change.

Kit (ConvertKit) cost calculator

Enter your subscriber count, then pick a plan and how you pay. The calculator bills your list at the next stop the Kit pricing slider prints, the same way Kit does.

Subscribers

Or pick a common size. Kit counts confirmed subscribers once each.

Plan

Kit now labels Creator Pro as Pro on its pricing page. The figures below are the same plan.

Billing

Yearly billing applies to Creator and Creator Pro. The free plan costs nothing either way.

100,000 subscribers bill at the 105,000 stop, the next one the slider prints: Creator Pro $879 a month, $10,548 over twelve months. Paying yearly would cost $8,790, saving $1,758. Sends are unlimited.

Kit prices read off the pricing slider stop by stop in both billing modes on 30 October 2026; every stop matched the 26 October 2026 read. Yearly is 10 times the monthly price. On 30 October 2026 Kit also showed a limited time first year discount on Pro paid yearly that renews at the standard rate; the standard rate is shown here.

The rename, in one line

ConvertKit rebranded to Kit. Guides and search queries still use the old name. This page answers the old name with the live Kit prices from the same dataset as the Kit pages, not a second ConvertKit table.

Creator focused sender, formerly ConvertKit. Built around newsletters, sequences and selling to a list. Kit bills on active unique subscribers and includes unlimited sends on every paid plan, so send volume never changes the bill. Crossing a subscriber threshold moves the account to the next tier automatically. The free plan, which Kit calls Free, runs to 10,000 subscribers, which is by far the most generous free tier in this set, but it has no visual automations or email sequences.

Rename note: ConvertKit is now Kit. The pricing page, product name and bills all say Kit (Kit pricing page, read 26 October 2026, verified).

Monthly prices. New accounts paid the new prices from 8 September 2025; existing accounts moved on their first bill after 15 October 2025.

Creator at 1,000 subscribers went from $290 to $390 a year on yearly billing. The free plan ceiling stayed at 10,000 subscribers, and every stop above 20,000 subscribers kept the same price. The $15 figure that still circulates was the old tier for 300 subscribers, which was removed rather than repriced, so the like for like increase is $29 to $39. When Kit raised prices has the full record.

Where these numbers are soft

  • Kit repriced in September 2025, roughly 35 percent up, and retired the old 15 dollar Creator entry tier. Anything quoting 15 dollars predates that change.
  • The Kit pricing slider prints stops at 1,000, 3,000, 5,000, 8,000, 10,000, 15,000, 20,000, 25,000, 35,000, 45,000 and 55,000 subscribers, then every 10,000 after that. There is no 50,000 or 100,000 stop, so the 50,000 breakpoint here is billed at the 55,000 stop and the 100,000 breakpoint at the 105,000 stop. The 2,500 breakpoint is billed at the 3,000 stop and 500 at the 1,000 stop.
  • Kit prints a yearly price of exactly 10 times the monthly price, sold as two months free. The annual column is that yearly price divided by 12, to the cent. The Kit page rounds the same figure up to a whole dollar, so it shows 75 dollars a month where this table shows 74.17.
  • Selling through Kit carries a transaction fee on every paid plan, including free, so the subscription price is not the full cost for anyone monetising.

Kit Creator and Creator Pro by list size, read off the Kit pricing slider in both billing modes on 26 September 2026. "Billed at" is the slider stop the list pays for. Verified rows are sizes the slider printed exactly. Derived rows are lists between two stops, priced at the higher stop, because the slider has no stop at 500, 2,500, 50,000 or 100,000. Yearly is the total Kit prints for a year, 10 times the monthly price. The free plan covers every list up to ten thousand subscribers.

Paying monthly or yearly

Kit's yearly price is 10 times the monthly price on every paid plan.

  • Kit's yearly price is exactly 10 times the monthly price at every slider stop, which its billing help describes as 12 months for the price of 10 and its pricing page labels "Pay yearly, save 17%". At 10,000 subscribers Creator is 139 dollars a month or 1,390 dollars a year. (the Kit pricing page, read 26 September 2026)
  • With yearly billing selected, the pricing page shows the yearly total divided by 12 and rounded up to a whole dollar, so Creator at 1,000 subscribers reads 33 dollars a month for a 390 dollar year. The tables here keep the cents: 32.50. (the Kit pricing page, read 26 September 2026)
  • Kit refunds any payment made in the last 30 days, annual plans included, and does not refund or prorate payments older than that. Moving from annual to monthly takes a request to support and happens at the end of the annual cycle. (Billing at Kit, read 26 September 2026)

Who counts toward the bill

Kit bills confirmed subscribers, once each.

  • Only subscribers with the Confirmed status count toward the bill. Unconfirmed, unsubscribed, complained, bounced and blocked subscribers do not. (Kit's subscriber status help, read 26 September 2026)
  • Cold subscribers still count. Kit marks a subscriber who has been on the list more than 90 days as cold after 90 days without an open or a click, but they stay Confirmed, so a quiet list keeps setting the tier until those addresses are removed. (Kit's subscriber status help, read 26 September 2026)
  • Kit keeps one subscriber list. Someone who signs up through several forms or landing pages appears once, and Kit says you are never billed for duplicates. (How subscriber organization works in Kit, read 26 September 2026)

Sending and passing a tier

No send limits, and an automatic move to the next tier when the list grows.

  • Kit bills on active subscribers, not on emails sent or features used, and every plan, free included, lists unlimited email broadcasts, so there is no send limit to go over. (Billing at Kit, read 26 September 2026)
  • Passing a tier upgrades the account automatically. A monthly plan pays the new price plus a prorated charge on the next bill; an annual plan is charged the prorated difference straight away and the full new yearly price at renewal. (Kit's upgrade and downgrade help, read 26 September 2026)
  • A large import can get the account suspended for a while, and Kit asks to be told in advance. (Kit's upgrade and downgrade help, read 26 September 2026)

What the free plan allows

Broadcasts, forms and landing pages to ten thousand subscribers, with no automations or sequences.

  • Kit calls the free plan Free. It runs to ten thousand subscribers with unlimited forms, landing pages and email broadcasts, and one user. (the Kit pricing page, read 26 September 2026)
  • The free plan has no visual automations or email sequences. Kit's Free plan help lists both, with rules and RSS campaigns, under what needs a paid plan, and the pricing page marks the visual automation builder and email sequences as not included on Free. (The Kit Free plan, read 26 September 2026)
  • Kit's older Newsletter Plan help article still describes one basic visual automation with one email sequence. The pricing page and the Free plan article do not, so this site follows them. (The Kit Newsletter Plan, read 26 September 2026)
  • Past ten thousand subscribers a paid plan is needed to keep sending. (The Kit Free plan, read 26 September 2026)

  • Creator allows the owner plus one team member; more than one team member needs Creator Pro. Team members are Admins or Editors. (Kit's team member help, read 26 September 2026)
  • A/B tests run on broadcasts only, not sequences. Each version goes to 15 percent of recipients and the winner to the remaining 70 percent, and Kit recommends at least 500 subscribers for a content test. (Kit's content A/B help, read 26 September 2026)

Week of 26 October 2026. Official pricing pages were reread for Kit, MailerLite, Moosend, Klaviyo, Omnisend, beehiiv Free/Lite/Pro, ActiveCampaign (monthly catalog and the yearly figures on the page), Brevo entry bands, Mailchimp, HubSpot Marketing Hub edition bases, the Constant Contact fee-schedule modal, Flodesk, and SendGrid Marketing Campaigns floors and capacity cards. Every rechecked figure matched the figure already on this site. ActiveCampaign now shows yearly billing only, with a contact count selector, and still starts at 15/49/79 at 1,000 contacts while month to month stays 19/59/99. Constant Contact still prints the 45,001 to 50,000 band at 430/460/575 and Contact Sales above 50,000.

Aside from the Constant Contact 50,000 contact fill recorded in the entry above, every rechecked figure matched the figure already on this site. ActiveCampaign still leads with annual starts-at 15/49/79 while month to month stays 19/59/99 at the 1,000 contact entry. beehiiv plan names and October 2026 prices still match Free, Lite and Pro.

Official pricing pages were reread for Kit, MailerLite, Moosend, Klaviyo, Omnisend, beehiiv (October 2026 Free, Lite and Pro ladder), HubSpot Marketing Hub edition bases, Brevo entry prices, and Mailchimp entry prices at the 0 to 500 contact band. Every rechecked figure matched the figure already on this site. No price, plan name, or billing rule in the inventory moved. ActiveCampaign, Constant Contact, Flodesk and SendGrid Marketing Campaigns were not rechecked this week.

Effect on a bill. No bill moved. Snapshot 4 bumps verifiedAt dates on the vendors that were rechecked and records that the October 2026 beehiiv Free, Lite and Pro prices still match the ladder already held in the beehiiv 2026 reprice file.

  4. Kit cost by list size, and the Kit page gains billing, counting and plan limits

/kit-pricing now prices Creator and Creator Pro at eleven list sizes from 500 to 100,000 subscribers, month to month and for a year, with the slider stop each list is billed at, read off the Kit pricing slider in both billing modes on 26 September 2026. Sizes the slider prints exactly are verified; lists between two stops, such as 50,000 billed at the 55,000 stop, are derived. The page also adds short sections on paying monthly or yearly, who counts toward the bill, sending and passing a tier, what the free plan allows, and users, automations, landing pages, testing and branding by plan, each read on the Kit pricing page or the Kit help center on 26 September 2026.

Effect on a bill. No Kit price moved: every Creator and Creator Pro cell matches the 26 September slider read, and the yearly price is 10 times the monthly price at every stop from 1,000 to 105,000 subscribers.

  5. Correction: Kit's free plan has no automations or email sequences

This site said Kit's free plan allows one automation and one email sequence. Kit's pricing page, read on 26 September 2026, marks the visual automation builder and email sequences as not included on the free plan, which it now calls Free, and Kit's Free plan help article lists both under what needs a paid plan. The Wayback Machine shows that article already saying so on 27 August 2026. An older Kit help article for the Newsletter Plan still describes one basic automation and one sequence. The free plan's other limits are unchanged: ten thousand subscribers, with unlimited sends, forms and landing pages.

Effect on a bill. No price moved. Anyone who needs even one automation or sequence on Kit pays for Creator, from 39 dollars a month at 1,000 subscribers, rather than staying free.

  6. Correction: Kit Creator at 10,000 and Creator Pro at 5,000 and 10,000, and Kit annual prices

Three Kit cells were estimates below what the Kit pricing page prints. A 25 September read of the Kit pricing slider corrected them: Creator at 10,000 subscribers moved from 119 to 139 dollars a month, and Creator Pro from 111 to 139 at 5,000 and from 169 to 189 at 10,000. The annual column now follows the yearly price Kit prints, which is exactly 10 times the monthly price, divided by 12. It had used a 16 percent discount, so annual cells whose monthly price did not change move down by up to about 6 dollars a month, for example 33 to 32.50 dollars for Creator at 1,000. Labels changed too: cells read straight off a slider stop are verified, while 500, 2,500, 50,000 and 100,000, where the slider has no stop and the next stop up is billed, are derived. Creator Pro at 50,000 moves from estimate to derived at an unchanged 519 dollars. The record of the September 2025 reprice now cites the Kit pricing page as archived by the Wayback Machine on 23 August and 8 September 2025 rather than a tracker, and every figure in it was read off those archived pages.

Effect on a bill. Kit costs more than this site showed at 10,000 subscribers: 20 dollars a month more on Creator and 20 more on Creator Pro, and Creator Pro costs 28 dollars more at 5,000. At 10,000 subscribers Omnisend Standard and Constant Contact Lite are now cheaper than Kit Creator, where the old cell had Kit ahead. No other monthly Kit price moved.

  7. Kit pricing changes page recorded

/kit-pricing-changes is the short dated record for the ConvertKit to Kit rename and the September 2025 Creator/Creator Pro reprice. Not a second Kit deep-dive: links /when-kit-raised-prices, /kit-pricing and LIVE kit-cost pages.

Effect on a bill. No Kit cell moved. The change record points at the existing narrative and cost-at-N pages.

  8. HubSpot vs Kit pricing page recorded

/hubspot-vs-kit-pricing compares HubSpot Marketing Hub catalog USD (edition bases, seats, marketing-contact packs) against Kit LIVE Newsletter, Creator and Creator Pro ladders. Worked examples at 1k/5k/10k/25k use derived pack math from verified catalog bands. Catalog vs UI packaging labeled. ConvertKit rename noted. No invented HubSpot eight-breakpoint matrix. Empty Kit Newsletter cells above 10,000 left empty.

Effect on a bill. No HubSpot or Kit cell moved. Both parent pricing pages and the HubSpot contacts child link in. Mid-tail vs sibling of /hubspot-vs-mailchimp-pricing and /mailchimp-vs-kit-pricing.

  9. Kit cost at 1,000 contacts page recorded

/kit-cost-1000 deep-dives Newsletter, Creator and Creator Pro at the 1,000 subscriber stop using the same Kit cells already on the parent ladder. Verified at 0, 39 and 79 dollars a month. ConvertKit rename called out. Newsletter still free.

Effect on a bill. No Kit cell moved. The cost-at-N child, the 5,000, 10,000 and 25,000 contact siblings, /kit-pricing and /convertkit-pricing link to each other.

  10. Kit vs Omnisend pricing page recorded

/kit-vs-omnisend-pricing compares LIVE Kit Creator/Creator Pro and Omnisend Standard/Pro dated ladders at the eight SideBySend breakpoints. Kit Newsletter free through 10,000 is called out. ConvertKit rename noted. No invented mid-tier dollars.

Effect on a bill. No Kit or Omnisend cell moved. Both parent pricing pages and the cost-at-N children link in. Mid-tail vs sibling of /activecampaign-vs-omnisend-pricing.

  11. Kit cost at 5,000 contacts page recorded

/kit-cost-5000 deep-dives Newsletter, Creator and Creator Pro at 5,000 subscribers using the same Kit dataset cells already on the parent ladder. Newsletter and Creator are verified (0 and 89 dollars). Creator Pro stays an estimate at 111 dollars because trackers still disagree. ConvertKit rename callout kept. Pack 17 kept Kit rather than swapping because Creator at 5,000 is a verified published stop, not Contact Sales or derived-only.

  17. ConvertKit pricing alias points at the Kit dataset

/convertkit-pricing is recorded as a rename alias for ConvertKit to Kit. It states the rebrand, shows the same Kit key numbers, and links to /kit-pricing for the full ladder. No second Kit deep-dive and no invented ConvertKit dollars.

Effect on a bill. No Kit cell moved. ConvertKit search landings resolve to the recorded Kit dataset without splitting the vendor page.

  18. beehiiv vs Kit pricing page recorded

/beehiiv-vs-kit-pricing compares beehiiv Scale and Max with Kit Creator and Creator Pro at the eight SideBySend breakpoints, using the same beehiiv and Kit datasets already on the vendor pages. 19. The Kit ladder from before the September 2025 reprice is now recorded

Dated snapshots of the Kit pricing page either side of the reprice, first found through a price tracker, give a before and after column rather than a reconstruction. Those figures are now in the dataset. On 25 September 2026 every figure was reread off the Kit pricing page as the Wayback Machine archived it on 23 August and 8 September 2025, which is now the source. They also separate two numbers that were being used interchangeably: 15 dollars was the lowest tier of the old ConvertKit ladder, sold for a list of 300 and retired outright, while 29 dollars was the 1,000 subscriber price immediately before the change. The like for like increase at 1,000 subscribers is 29 dollars to 39.

Effect on a bill. No cell moved at the time. It did raise a question about one. The recorded Kit Creator price at 10,000 subscribers was 119 dollars, which the snapshots show was the pre reprice price for that stop, against 139 dollars after it. That cell was left as an estimate until the Kit pricing page was read again, and on 25 September 2026 it was corrected to 139 dollars.

  20. Kit repriced Creator and retired the 15 dollar entry tier

Kit raised paid plan prices by roughly 35 percent and removed the old 15 dollar Creator tier. Creator now opens at 39 dollars a month and Creator Pro at 79, both at 1,000 subscribers. The free Newsletter plan stayed at 10,000 subscribers.

Effect on a bill. Kit's floor for a paid plan went up by about 24 dollars a month. Any guide still quoting 15 dollars is describing pricing that no longer exists.
