What Mailchimp costs at 100,000 contacts

One hundred thousand contacts is a published stop on the Mailchimp slider, so Standard and Premium here are read off the pricing page rather than interpolated. Essentials is not sold above 50,000 contacts, so that cell stays empty. Standard tops out at this size; larger lists move to Premium.

The three answers

Essentials
n/a
Not sold. Essentials caps at 50,000 contacts.
Standard
$800
1,200,000 monthly sends, multi step journeys, 5 audiences. Top of the plan.
Premium
$1,025
Verified Premium at the published 100,000 contact stop. The only Mailchimp plan sold above 100,000 contacts.

All three plans at exactly 100,000 contacts

Monthly billing. Mailchimp publishes no standing annual rate, so there is no yearly figure to set against it. Essentials is empty because the plan is not sold at this size.

Prices are compiled from public vendor pages and can lag behind a change. Cells marked Der are calculated from published rules and cells marked Est are rough figures. Neither is an invoice or a quote, so confirm with the vendor before you spend.

What the gap between the sold plans buys

Price divided by included sends for Standard and Premium only. Essentials has no price at this size.

Standard
$0.67
$800 a month across 1,200,000 sends
Premium
$0.68
$1,025 a month across 1,500,000 sends

Standard at $800 and Premium at $1,025 are both verified published stops. The $225 a month between them buys unlimited seats and audiences and the higher send multiple, not a cheaper rate per thousand sends. Essentials ended at 50,000 contacts, so it is not in this comparison.

These figures are arithmetic on two published numbers, the tier price and the send multiple. Mailchimp does not sell sends separately at this size, so nothing here is a rate anyone can buy on its own.

Why Essentials is empty and Standard tops out here

Essentials is sold up to 50,000 contacts and not beyond. At that ceiling Essentials is $385. A list of 100,000 contacts has to leave Essentials for Standard or Premium. That ceiling is a published plan limit, not an interpolation.

Standard is sold up to 100,000 contacts. At 25,000 contacts Standard is $310; at 50,000 it is $450; here it is $800. Premium at 25,000 is $620, at 50,000 it is $815, and here it is $1,025. Premium is the only Mailchimp plan sold above 100,000 contacts.

The discount that applies above 10,000 contacts

Mailchimp publishes no standing annual price. The one discount recorded in this dataset is a promotion of 15 percent off for 12 months, and it is recorded as applying to lists above 10,000 contacts. At $800 a month, Standard here is $9,600 a year at the sticker price. 15 percent off that sticker is $680 a month for a year, and it would revert afterwards.

What the number does and does not include

The contact count that picks the tier is not the number of people who can receive a campaign. Unsubscribed and non subscribed contacts count until they are archived. A dashboard reading 100,000 contacts can hold well under 100,000 mailable addresses. What each vendor counts is recorded here.

Going over the tier does not stop the account. Mailchimp adds an overage charge to that month, so an invoice can sit above the table price while the pricing page still reads the same. Tax sits on top, and transactional email is a separate product.

MailerLiteComfort$439VerifiedComfort. Published stop on the MailerLite pricing slider, read on 4 October 2026. The yearly price per month is printed on the slider.
KitCreator$679DerivedCreator. Billed at the 105,000 subscriber stop, because the Kit pricing slider has no 100,000 stop. Yearly is 6,790 dollars.
BrevoStandard$429DerivedStandard. Derived from the 500,000 send band. A weekly send to 100,000 contacts is 400,000 emails, which is more than the 350,000 band holds. The calculator prints 429 dollars for the 500,000 band, or 386.08 a month paid yearly.
beehiivScale$329VerifiedScale. Top of the plan. Above 100,000 subscribers beehiiv only quotes Enterprise.
ActiveCampaignStartern/aNot publishedStarter. Not sold. Starter caps at 25,000 contacts.
Cheapest paid plan per vendor at 100,000 contacts, month to month billing, snapshot 3. Brevo is priced on 4 sends per contact per month rather than list size.

The lowest published paid price at this size is beehiiv at $329. 4 of the 6 rows here carry a rating other than verified, which is the honest state of the published market at 100,000 contacts and not a rounding problem.

No tracked free plan reaches 100,000 contacts, so every row in the table above is a paid plan. The free plan ceilings are recorded here.

Mailchimp Standard at $800 sits among the higher paid rows at this size. The reason to pay it is the rest of the product and the published send allowance, not the cheapest sticker in the six.
