Constant Contact cost at 2,500 contacts
At the official 1,001 to 2,500 contact band, Constant Contact lists Lite at fifty dollars a month, Standard at seventy five, and Premium at one hundred fifty on monthly billing. Send allowances scale with list size, and overage is two tenths of a cent per email.
The three answers
- Lite
- $50
- 25,000 monthly email sends at 10 times the contact count
- Standard
- $75
- 30,000 monthly email sends at 12 times the contact count
- Premium
- $150
- 60,000 monthly email sends and 500 SMS included on US paid plans
All three plans at the 1,001 to 2,500 band
Monthly billing, read from the official fee-schedule modal. The requested breakpoint of 2,500 contacts lands in this band.
Prices are compiled from public vendor pages and can lag behind a change. Cells marked Der are calculated from published rules and cells marked Est are rough figures. Neither is an invoice or a quote, so confirm with the vendor before you spend.
| Plan | Monthly | Confidence | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | $50 | Verified | 25,000 monthly email sends included. Entry paid plan. Email sends worth 10 times the contact count each month, and SMS bought separately. |
| Standard | $75 | Verified | 30,000 monthly email sends included. Mid plan. Email sends worth 12 times the contact count each month, and SMS bought separately. |
| Premium | $150 | Verified | 60,000 monthly email sends included. Top plan. Email sends worth 24 times the contact count each month, and 500 SMS messages included on US paid plans. |
What the gap between the plans buys
Price divided by included email sends, which is the only unit the three plans can be lined up in at a fixed list size.
- Lite
- $2
- $50 a month across 25,000 sends
- Standard
- $2.50
- $75 a month across 30,000 sends
- Premium
- $2.50
- $150 a month across 60,000 sends
Lite and Standard land close to each other per thousand sends, so the $25 a month between them is buying the mid plan features rather than a much better rate on volume. Premium costs more per thousand sends because the send multiple jumps to 24 times the contact count and the plan includes 500 SMS messages on US paid plans.
These figures are arithmetic on two published numbers, the tier price and the send multiple. Constant Contact does not sell email sends as a separate product at this size, so nothing here is a rate anyone can buy on its own.
Annual billing takes 15 percent off
The pricing page billing toggle shows Save 15 percent for Annual. The annual monthly equivalents recorded for this band are derived from that published saving rather than typed off a separate annual fee schedule: Lite $42.50, Standard $63.75, and Premium $127.50 a month when billed annually.
Send overage and SMS beside the email bill
Emails past the monthly allowance are charged at 0.002 dollars each. One thousand over-limit sends therefore add $2 to that month.
SMS sits beside the email bill. Premium includes 500 messages a month on US paid plans. Lite and Standard sell SMS as an add on from $10 a month for 1 to 500 messages. None of those SMS dollars sit inside the email cells above.
Where this band sits on the ladder
Lite sits at $50 here, then moves to $80 at the 2,501 to 5,000 band, $120 at the 5,001 to 10,000 band and $280 at the 20,001 to 25,000 band. The live capture did not open the 10,001 to 20,000 band, so nothing is invented for a list that would land there. At 50,000 contacts and above the modal shows Contact Sales rather than a dollar figure.
