ActiveCampaign cost at 1,000 contacts
At 1,000 contacts the recorded monthly figures are nineteen dollars on Starter, fifty nine on Plus, and ninety nine on Professional. Those three stops are the verified entry anchors on the ActiveCampaign ladder. Annual billing is cheaper and is what the vendor page leads with.
The three answers
- Starter
- $19
- $15 a month when paid yearly. Verified entry stop.
- Plus
- $59
- $49 a month when paid yearly. Verified entry stop.
- Professional
- $99
- $79 a month when paid yearly. Verified entry stop.
All three plans at 1,000 contacts
Monthly billing first. The annual column is the per month cost of paying for a year up front, which is the number the ActiveCampaign page usually shows.
Prices are compiled from public vendor pages and can lag behind a change. Cells marked Der are calculated from published rules and cells marked Est are rough figures. Neither is an invoice or a quote, so confirm with the vendor before you spend.
| Plan | Monthly | Confidence | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $19 | Verified | Entry plan. 1 user, automations capped at 5 actions each, basic segmentation, 25,000 contact ceiling. Confidence on this stop is verified. |
| Plus | $59 | Verified | The plan most buyers move to. Unlimited automation actions, landing pages, lead scoring, 1 user. Confidence on this stop is verified. |
| Professional | $99 | Verified | Advanced segmentation, predictive and conditional content, attribution, 3 users. Confidence on this stop is verified. |
Annual billing is the first trap
The pricing page defaults to annual and labels that figure as a per month number. At this list size the recorded annual monthly equivalents are Starter $15, Plus $49, and Professional $79. A monthly biller pays the higher sticker in the key numbers above. The 15 dollar Starter headline is the annual figure, not the monthly one.
Send allowance and contact counting
ActiveCampaign attaches a monthly send allowance of ten to fifteen times the contact limit depending on plan. Going over costs half a cent per extra email, and reaching three times the allowance switches sending off until the next month. This page does not invent a plan by plan multiple beyond that published range.
One question, two answers, split by a date. Accounts created on or after 3 November 2025 are billed for every contact whatever its list status. Accounts created on or before 2 November 2025 are billed for active contacts only. ActiveCampaign publishes both answers in the same help article. That is why a dashboard reading 1,000 mailable people can still land in a higher tier once unsubscribed and bounced contacts are counted. What each tracked vendor counts is recorded here.
Where this stop sits on the ladder
The ladder starts at the 1,000 contact tier, so a 500 contact list pays the same Starter $19, Plus $59, and Professional entry. Those 500 cells are derived from this verified stop rather than a separate published band. The next stops up are at 2,500 (Starter $49, Plus $119), also read off the pricing calculator.
