Cost at N
Brevo cost at 500 contacts
At 500 contacts under the site wide weekly send assumption the recorded monthly figures are nine dollars on Starter, eighteen on Standard, and four hundred ninety nine on Professional. All three paid cells are derived from band prices on the Brevo calculator: the 5,000 send band for Starter and Standard, and the 150,000 send entry band for Professional. Free stores a large list while capping sends at three hundred emails a day. Standard was formerly called Business.
The three answers
- Starter
- $9
- 2,000 assumed monthly sends. Derived from the 5,000 send band, 500 contact cap.
- Standard
- $18
- Same band, with automation. Derived stop. Formerly called Business.
- Professional
- $499
- Derived entry band sold from 150,000 sends a month, not from this list size.
All three plans at 500 contacts
Monthly billing. Paid a year up front at 10 percent off, Brevo's calculator prints $8.08 a month for Starter, $16.17 for Standard and $449.08 for Professional on the same bands, read 25 September 2026.
Prices are compiled from public vendor pages and can lag behind a change. Cells marked Der are calculated from published rules and cells marked Est are rough figures. Neither is an invoice or a quote, so confirm with the vendor before you spend.
| Plan | Monthly | Confidence | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $9 | Derived | Cheapest paid tier. Removes the daily send limit but excludes marketing automation entirely. Confidence on this stop is derived. |
| Standard | $18 | Derived | The plan most Brevo buyers land on, previously called Business. Adds automation, landing pages and A/B testing. Confidence on this stop is derived. |
| Professional | $499 | Derived | The tier above Standard. Sold from 150,000 sends a month, stores up to 2 million contacts, and adds multichannel messaging and the AI features. Confidence on this stop is derived. |
Free plan sends versus paid volume
Brevo's free plan can store up to 100,000 contacts, which is larger than this list size, but sending is capped at 300 emails a day. That daily cap is why a 500 contact free account cannot run a weekly newsletter on free alone. Starter removes the daily cap and sells monthly send volume instead. This page does not invent a free plan monthly dollar, because free is not sold as a priced cell at SideBySend breakpoints. Starter and Standard (formerly Business) are the paid answers at this stop, recorded as derived from the band prices Brevo prints.
Under the site wide assumption of 4 sends per contact per month, a 500 contact list needs 2,000 emails a month. That lands on the 5,000 send band, which caps stored contacts at 500. Cheapest band on both paid plans. A weekly send to 500 contacts uses 2,000 of the 5,000 sends, so the contact cap binds first.
Professional and contact counting
Professional cannot be bought below 150,000 sends a month, so a list that only needs the weekly assumption still pays the entry band price of $499. The larger Professional bands, 250,000 and 500,000 sends, are recorded on the parent page at 50,000 and 100,000 contacts.
Brevo bills send volume, so a blocklisted contact costs nothing to send to and Brevo says as much. It also says blocklisted contacts are still added to the total number of contacts, and since October 2025 that total is capped by the send band. So they do not cost sends and they do consume the cap. What each tracked vendor counts is recorded here.
Where this stop sits on the ladder
Starter opens at $9 here (5,000 send band), then moves to $17 at 1,000, then to $25 at 2,500, then to $32 at 5,000, all derived from band prices. Standard moves from $18 to $35, then to $49, then to $69. Those neighbouring figures are the recorded dataset cells at those breakpoints. This page does not invent a mid-tier volume ladder between published stops.
