Sends, free reach and what each one counts

Kit includes unlimited email sends on Newsletter, Creator and Creator Pro, so send volume never moves a Kit bill. Omnisend Standard meters emails under the contact count. Omnisend Pro removes that email send cap. At 10,000 contacts Newsletter is still free.

Omnisend. Opted in to marketing on email, SMS or push. The number most people mean when they say list size. Non subscribed contacts are billed too. Unsubscribed contacts are not.

Kit. Kit bills confirmed subscribers only, and its help pages list every other status as outside the billing total: unsubscribed, complained, bounced, blocked and unconfirmed. Hard bounces are unsubscribed automatically.
