Prices are compiled from public vendor pages and can lag behind a change. Cells marked Der are calculated from published rules and cells marked Est are rough figures. Neither is an invoice or a quote, so confirm with the vendor before you spend.

Mid list sizes on both dated ladders

500 contacts
$9

10,000 contacts
$46
Brevo Starter derived from its send band. MailerLite Comfort is $89 verified.
25,000 contacts
$82
Brevo Starter on the 100,000 send band. MailerLite Comfort is $179.

At 25,000 contacts under 4 sends per contact per month, Brevo needs about 100,000 emails a month, which lands on the 100,000 send band. Starter is $82. Power at the same size is $239 against Brevo Standard at $139. At 10,000 contacts Power is $129 against Standard at $89.

Free plans sit on different limits

MailerLite Free
250
The cut landed with the paid reprice on the same day. Passing 250 active subscribers locks campaigns and automations on a free account until the list comes back down or the account goes paid.
Brevo Free
100,000
Storage is the generous part and sending is not. Brevo holds 100,000 contacts for nothing, which is more than any paid plan below the 20,000 send band allows, and removing the daily send cap is the main thing Starter buys.
Comfort at 500
$12
The first paid MailerLite stop after the free ceiling. Brevo Starter at the same size is $9.

MailerLite cut its free plan to 250 subscribers in June 2026. Brevo still holds 100,000 contacts free, but the daily send cap is what usually forces a paid band. The paid comparison only starts once both lists need more than those free ceilings allow.

Different meters on the same list size

MailerLite. The subscriber limit counts unique subscribers with an active status. MailerLite states on both its pricing page and its billing help page that unsubscribed and bounced contacts do not count. Unconfirmed subscribers are not active either, which is where the unconfirmed answer comes from rather than a separate statement. Comfort allows about ten times the ceiling of the subscriber tier each month. Power removes the send cap.

Brevo. Brevo bills send volume, so a blocklisted contact costs nothing to send to and Brevo says as much. It also says blocklisted contacts are still added to the total number of contacts, and since October 2025 that total is capped by the send band. So they do not cost sends and they do consume the cap. Every Brevo contact breakpoint on this page rests on the site wide weekly send assumption. A list that sends more often buys a higher band. Per contact against per send sets that assumption out in full.

Both ladders are dated dataset reads. MailerLite repriced in June 2026 and renamed Growing Business to Comfort and Advanced to Power. Brevo added hard contact caps under volume bands in October 2025. Older sticker prices that ignore those dates are not used here.
