Comparison

HubSpot vs Constant Contact pricing

These products do not share a billing shape. Constant Contact sells Lite and Standard on a fee-schedule contact ladder with send allowances. HubSpot Marketing Hub sells edition bases, Core Seats and marketing-contact packs from the Product and Services Catalog. This page keeps catalog USD beside Constant Contact live-capture cells and does not invent a HubSpot eight-breakpoint matrix.

Snapshot 3, HubSpot catalog checked 26 September 2026, Constant Contact checked 13 September 2026. Monthly billing shown first. Constant Contact stays on the watchlist outside the six vendor tables.

The bill shapes are not the same

HubSpot Starter base
$20
Per Core Seat. 1,000 marketing contacts included.
Constant Contact Lite at 1k
$30
Verified fee-schedule band. Standard is $55.
HubSpot Professional base
$890
3 Core Seats. Onboarding $3,000 one-time.

Constant Contact prices the contact tier shown in its fee-schedule modal. HubSpot prices an edition base, then Core Seats, then marketing-contact packs on top. Comparing a HubSpot Starter seat sticker to a Constant Contact Lite cell without saying which seats and which contact packs are in play mixes two meters.

HubSpot cells on this page prefer the Product and Services Catalog. The Marketing pricing UI can show suite or Customer Platform packaging, but its Marketing Hub list prices match the catalog, as do those on HubSpot's pricing calculator, read 26 September 2026. Only promotional prices, such as the new customer Starter seat, stay out.

Constant Contact Lite across eight list sizes

Verified live-capture ladder. Lite is the Constant Contact comparison plan. Standard sits in the notes. Contact Sales empties stay empty.

Prices are compiled from public vendor pages and can lag behind a change. Cells marked Der are calculated from published rules and cells marked Est are rough figures. Neither is an invoice or a quote, so confirm with the vendor before you spend.

Professional stays far above both Constant Contact plans once the edition base is in the bill. Above 25,000 Constant Contact shows Contact Sales rather than a published USD figure.

HubSpot figures are the Pay Monthly and Pay Annually options on HubSpot's pricing calculator, read 26 September 2026; Professional paid annually is the 800 dollar base plus contact packs at 10 percent off, so derived. Onboarding is not included.

Constant Contact also sells a 6 month prepay at 10 percent off, and its prepay renews automatically. HubSpot's calculator offers only monthly or annual payment, and Professional's monthly option is already a 12 month commitment.

Sends and what each one counts

Constant Contact Lite allows 10 times the contact count in monthly email sends. Standard allows 12 times and Premium allows 24 times. HubSpot marketing email send limits scale with the marketing-contact tier: Starter at 5 times, Professional at 10 times, and Enterprise at 20 times that tier. Those HubSpot multiples are catalog feature limits, not a separate dollar meter.

Constant Contact. No contact counting rule for unsubscribed addresses was visible on the Constant Contact pricing page or inside the fee-schedule modal on the check date.

HubSpot. For new customers after 5 March 2024, Marketing Hub Starter is priced per Core Seat, and Professional and Enterprise start at a base price that includes Core Seats. Marketing contacts sit on top of the edition: included contacts come with the base, and further contacts are sold in catalog bands. Non-marketing contacts are free up to an overall contact ceiling of 15 million (marketing plus non-marketing). Exceeding the marketing-contact tier bills immediately. Designating contacts as non-marketing takes effect at the start of the following month or contract renewal, whichever comes first, and contact-tier downgrades wait until renewal.

Constant Contact stays on the watchlist outside the six vendor tables. HubSpot Marketing Hub has no free edition on the recorded catalog ladder.
